Sunday we stopped by Les Arts Decoratifs (a non-profit museum of decorative arts located in the Louvre) to catch the last day of the Louis Vuitton / Marc Jacobs exhibit. The exhibition tells the story of the lives of the two designers who have been and continue to be hugely influential in the development of contemporary fashion. Needless to say, our afternoon was well spent getting to know the LV brand that began in 1854 with the creator of luggage, Louis Vuitton himself, and how it has evolved since 1997 under creative director, Marc Jacobs, the "king of grunge."
